Taking advantage of a quarter in New York

Hey guys,

I'm a sophomore at a banking semi-target, and was fortunate enough to get an offer for an internship position at a PE firm in New York for the spring quarter. I would like to make the most of my time in New York, i.e. try to secure an investment banking internship in New York for the summer.

Any advice on networking/interviewing while working? I know BB recruitment season has long passed, and as an international student + Asian + male I didn't have my hopes up either, so I'd be shooting for boutiques that at least offer some form of real experience, which I'd be able to use for BB summer analyst recruitment next season.
