Tips for lateral to EB or BB
I come from a non-target, found internship in a m&a mm shop in ny and then accepted their return offer. I will be starting full time in a month but I’m already thinking to lateral in a BB or EB. How soon should I start looking for opportunities and is it true that the sooner the better? In the sense that it’s easier to switch as an analyst I rather than associate I/II? Also, is it hard to lateral from a not known boutique to a top shop?
