Tips on Emailing/ Cold-calling for internship opportunities in asset management for liberal arts major
My question is since I am not in business/ accounting major and have no past experience on my resume to show my capabilities, would cold calling the key people of the firm/ emailing them of my analysis on companies {Bottom-Up} be potentially helpful to land an interview? And should I start with the managing partner of the firm or the associates of the firm? Any advice & insights on the matter will be greatly appreciated.
The answer to your first question is yes. Email everyone you can get a hold of. The higher up the ladder they are, the more pull they have when it comes to hiring. Don't become a student of cold emailing (just reading about it) become a practitioner. Good luck.
