Has anybody heard of Wall Street Combine ? Started by Felix Frey, "a 20 year Wall Street trader -Derivatives Expert".
It seems it proposes a simulation / competition program and is open to Classes of 2014, 2015 and 2016. I think they're having some beta launch.

Can't find on the website what "merit based" means. So there's some kind of competition that they don't describe, or I can't find it. All I can really think of it being is some kind of modeling comp.
Yes, I personally don't see how they can recreate the landscape. Even if they gave extra weight to extracurriculars or modeling "boot camps", I don't see anything that's not already out there.
I wouldn't trust a 20 year old "expert" in anything, unless that expertise involved Mrs Palmer and her five daughters.
Which is not to say that this is a dodgy program. Hell, I'm not even the target audience for this.
"20 year expert", not 20 year old expert. Either way, seems like infomercial-esque on RE investing or whatever.

Nope never heard of it. No offense Felix, but I am getting a whiff of multi-level marketing from the description mixed with a dash of a multiphasic personality inventory. But hey there are a lot of Wall Street wanna-bes with real talent, might as well tap into it.

Those who can't do either, run schemes that exploit the hope of misguided youth who want to be in the first category to make profits.
I met Felix walking through a hotel at a global assets conference and he seemed pretty legit. Could be just be a sly guy, but I did not get the impression he was up to tomfoolery. I might give it try if I can my school to pay for it. I think he also has some videos or a website as "OptionsGeek".
Good salesman always seem legit and know just how to leave you with a big smile on your face as they lighten your wallet.
