Wall Street Combine ("Getting a Job on Wall Street without rich parents and an Ivy education")

Has anybody heard of Wall Street Combine ? Started by Felix Frey, "a 20 year Wall Street trader -Derivatives Expert".

It seems it proposes a simulation / competition program and is open to Classes of 2014, 2015 and 2016. I think they're having some beta launch.

Quote from there: "Wall Street dismisses most applicants because of school, GPA, or internships. WE DON’T." -With that kind of a motto, it sure going to get a lot of publicity.

Thanks for assuring us. Since you backed it with so much information, I must believe you.

I wouldn't trust a 20 year old "expert" in anything, unless that expertise involved Mrs Palmer and her five daughters.

Which is not to say that this is a dodgy program. Hell, I'm not even the target audience for this.

Ah, my mistaken reading.

I agree that this sounds like marketing feeding off desperation.

Nope never heard of it. No offense Felix, but I am getting a whiff of multi-level marketing from the description mixed with a dash of a multiphasic personality inventory. But hey there are a lot of Wall Street wanna-bes with real talent, might as well tap into it.

Tough crowd here. Lol It seems most of you that posted have jobs. That's great. Two things… 1. Happy to answer any direct questions? yeahright, seems as if you wanted to ask something. 2. I am always looking for new mentors and people who want/like to give back?

Those who can, do.

Those who can't, teach.

Those who can't do either, run schemes that exploit the hope of misguided youth who want to be in the first category to make profits.

I met Felix walking through a hotel at a global assets conference and he seemed pretty legit. Could be just be a sly guy, but I did not get the impression he was up to tomfoolery. I might give it try if I can my school to pay for it. I think he also has some videos or a website as "OptionsGeek".
