What are my odds to get into IB?
My aunt founded an M&A sub practice at a BB. I have an accounting BS and masters (4 years total, 3 undergrad, 1 masters) from an unimpressive state school. 3.75 Masters GPA, 3.6 Undergrad with 2 internships in public accounting. I’m about to pass all 4 CPA exams and I’m fresh out of college. I know it’s an ultra long shot but what are the odds I would be able to get into the BB where my aunt founded that practice? Thanks in advance.
Could be helpful to ask your aunt for advice on recruiting and interview prep and job search, perhaps she can point you in the right direction
Do you think I would even have a chance though? I just assumed that I wouldn't get a look even if she recommended me because my educational background wasn't strong enough.
