What careers in finance have good international mobility?
College student graduating soon here, applying to many finance roles. Interested in financial roles primarily for the international mobility, as many of these institutions are multinational, have a track record of moving people around, and seem to be more open to the idea than other industries. Have family all across the world and multiple citizenships, but interested in being transferred to Australia early-career.
My ideal career would be a career with prospects of international mobility that doesn't require me to be a high-level executive in an extremely competitive niche. Something that allows for someone that expresses interest to move from NY to TX to CA to London to Luxembourg to Sydney/Melbourne. Etc. I actually have relatives in each of those places.
I know that this might not be a common reason for being interested in the financial industry: seems like common motivators are compensation and prestige. So how do I approach the industry and what roles or niches could I target? Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
