I hope I can start as an equity analyst and then work my way on the M&A desk because I have passion for understanding different companies in different industries. I also like the challenge of planning, structuring, negotiating, and executing deals. Not sure if it's possible though.

It is always important to know the job that you are applying for and why you want to work in that particular department so that you can ace any job interview that you have. Employers place importance on the "why do you want to work here" question.

There are many things that people need to know about interviewing for a job where it is due and if they can answer the questions perfectly they will win.
