What do HF analysts do after they've been canned?
Just a point of curiosity for someone interested in the industry. A common sentiment on here is that the median outcome is to be canned by year X.
What do these people do? Another HF job? Corp. dev type of job? Back to whatever they did pre HF? MBA?
And also what would be the recommended next steps for someone finding themselves in that spot?
