Happy I have a job and I am learning a lot, but was really dissapointed when I saw the comp on the offer, very underpaid but just happy I have a job because of how awful the market is. My fund invests in all types of funds like L/S, pc, distressed and especially invests in alternative investments. Planning to leave after 1-2 years of experience because of how bad they lowballed me on comp wondering what exits I could possibly see, could I network and move to a solid other buyside fund? Or would I need to move to sell side to see good exits.
