Yes and yes. Ours was like 10am-5pm (with Knopman) and just studying for the exams all day. Plus a little bit of studying during the night to just memorize key concepts/definitions. No weekend work (definitely book your exams on Thurs/Friday so they aren’t leaking into the next week).

Only thing that would suck is if you fail your exams and have to retake them, that probably becomes a pain in the ass. So just take it seriously during the week and study and you should be fine.

And then we also had HR training after exam training which was similar hours and also no weekend work. TTS was kinda annoying but you can get through it pretty easily if you studied finance/have previous IB experience (it’s really meant for the target school kids who have no finance background).

Definitely enjoy this time while you can, it’s by far the easiest part of the job.

Thanks, this is helpful. What was the capacity to have a social life? If you wanted to go out for dinner or drinks any night of the week, was that possible?
