What the fuck do I do now?
I was working at a major hedge fund and traded across multiple different pods. I switched around and eventually got into better ones and my CAGR was around 110%
However, certain things happened and most of our PMs were cooked along with all the execs. And some other stuff happened that I basically can’t get into here.
I do have 5 years of experience and a top-tier degree and I’m looking to pivot into Europe/UK. How should I approach this properly? I don’t want what happened with my fund to show up in my past but there’s basically no way to avoid it, so I don’t really know what to do.
I don’t even know if I could do an MBA right now because this was the only experience I had since college. Yeah, I’m kind of lost.. and cooked.. maybe do an low-tier MBA and switch into MBB since my finance career might be over? Honestly, at this point I even consider pivoting into plumbing but yeah.. Would like to hear what's possible or not..

I’m also confused. Are you saying that there was nefarious activity at your old fund that would automatically preclude you from all future finance roles? Like fraud? If not, and you have 5 YOE from a “major hedge fund” with a “top degree,” why in the world do you think you can’t get another job? People at pods get fired all the time. Go get a job at another hedge fund. It probably won’t be as prestigious/good of a fund as the one you were at, but it’s still a HF seat. I’m confused at your lack of effort here
