Keeping in mind this isn't for internship/analyst recruitment - local market is very business casual on Fridays and I would highly expect my interviewer at this BB to be smart casual. Thoughts?

Suit and tie. Doesn’t matter it’s a Friday.
Casual fridays at most places.
That said, you should go 1 level beyond that and wear business casual to show that you’re serious about the interview, if not formal attire including a tie
I would at the minimum wear a suit jacket, no tie. But really you should be in a suit + tie. It's an interview, even if your interviewer is in shorts you should be dressed up... especially if it's at a BB
