^--- unlikely. He's likely a fucktard that falls into one of the below categories:

  1. incompetent; can't find his way out of a wet paper bag, fucks everything up and his attempts at being "proactive" completely miss the mark and fuck things up even more; has an inability to identify what is important and warrants attention vs. what is negligible and no one really cares about
  2. entitled; thinks he's something special, maybe because he thinks he's smart, maybe because mommy and daddy told him he's special while paying his way through every hurdle he's ever come across in life; regardless, in the real world, he's worth absolutely zero and I'd probably pay to NOT have him by my side

OP, read the above, this is what anyone immediately thinks in the absence of and often even with more information. Just keep that in mind the next time you ask a question like your original post.

Marcus, you are forcing me to put up the shitted on 'em video again..... you just keep wiping the floor with kids on WSO

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

Accept beforehand that you may just be done in this career, be honest, and then really make the effort to prove yourself. That's the high road.

The low road is to lie your ass off, pull it off, and then once you're back online you jump to another firm in a couple of years and you accomplished the equivalent of money laundering for your career. No one ever needs to know, and KILL whoever tries to blow up your spot.

Either way, good luck.

Whatever excuse you decide to use, just remember that brevity and simplicity is of the utmost importance. If I am a hiring manager and you are attempting to explain the reason you left your last job so abruptly and it lasts more than 30 - 40 seconds, it would arouse my suspicion.
