When to follow up? Third Round Interview
Hi everyone! I met a senior-level recruiter, at a diversity event, a couple of months ago. She said she would help me get a capital markets internship. One of her employees took a casual phone call with me. He then reopened the company application.
I had a first-round interview with the same guy. I didn't feel it went well, but he told me they were doing their part to get me the role. Not long after, I had a second-round interview with two analysts. It was short and semi-awkward but not bad. Less than an hour later, I was invited to a third-round interview.
I had my third interview with someone senior on the team. He didn't ask technical questions but described my daily life in the role. After cultural questions, he told me I had good interpersonal skills. We also had a discussion about the strength of the dollar vs the euro and EU monetary theory. At the end, he asked what city I preferred to work in and told me I'd hear back in two weeks. I thought this interview went well.
It's been two and I've not heard back. I'm supposed to hear back from the guy who reopened the app. Most follow-up posts I see are after networking or the first round. What is the recommended course for following up after the third round?
