When to send follow up email
I’ve been networking and having trouble getting people to respond to my follow up email that they usually respond to with a cc’ed colleague. I send it after a few hours of calling on the same day, should I send after a day or later to maximize response rate? What time is ideal?

you shouldn’t expect this from everyone you follow up with. For most people willing to take your call, that call is all you’re going to get.
