Where to start on the "tell me about a deal" question
Any help is very welcome! I am not a finance major (engineering) and very confused on the deal question.
Which websites/resources do you guys use to stay updated? What are some of the key points that the bankers are looking for when they ask you this question?
I assume you mean the tell me about a deal question. If so, just follow this structure: The deal; 1 sentence on company backgrounds; Why it happened; Its impact and your two cents. To stay on top of deals, just subscribe to litquidity's newsletter: https://sparklp.co/be973d47
thank you. Edited my title to make it more clear
np, they’re just looking to see whether you have been following the markets and can synthesize information. Make sure you can talk about deals the firm you’re interviewing has advised on.
