Which career option is best for my situation?

Hello!

I am about to start a graduate program with options to go into Markets or CIB. I am quite old and I am looking for a fast trajectory to have my own portfolio (in Markets) or deals (in CIB).

Do you suggest Markets or a division of CIB for fast progression (for those who are capable of course)?

For example, can I trade my own portfolio as an Associate while as an Associate at CIB, I will still be considered a cog in the wheel?

I am looking for somewhere where you "keep what you kill" as soon as possible rather than wait for a decade to rise the ranks.

Thanks!
