Which department is 'easiest' to get into for a summer internship

Before anyone says anything, I know they are all diffcult to get into which is why I say 'easiest' however I am interested in knowing whether people think there are some departments that are harder to get into than others due to competition, requirements etc

for example at JPM you have Asset Management, finance, IB risk, IB, Sales trading & research and a few others

thoughts?

Im seriously thinking about applying for operations or something similar in MO then doing a very good job for the first 18/24 months, network my ass off and move up from there

PWM -> BO -> FO -> offer (standard track, easiest to hardest)

You can also get creative and try for FO at smaller shops, even if unpaid. These internships give a LOT of leverage towards going directly to FO.
