Will IB hiring slow down in the fall?
Very basic question: I'm looking for a job as an IB associate and am participating in off-cycle interviews. I don't feel quite ready to make the move yet based on just personal life circumstances, but I feel I'll be ready to move over by the fall. Based on general economic conditions and forecasted recession by end of year, am I screwed if I don't move in now? Will hiring freeze? I am already interviewing, but the timeline just feels very off for me personally. Can I negotiate a delayed start date?
Thanks so much for any advice.
