Will my new name conflict with the background check
Due to personal/ethnic reasons, I have changed my last name. However, my university registrar and past employers know me by my old name.
If I apply with my new name to funds and banks, will they do a background check right away?
or do they give me an offer first? then i can tell HR my birth-name for the background check.
I really don't know what to do, please help.
You can update your university records, and just inform your references so there aren't any mix ups.
thanks alot cola coca, but i have many awards from many organizations, etc. which might cause some problems.
when does the firm do the background check? before they hire you? do they notify you prior to the background check?
Can someone please help me out, but my application needs to be handed tomorrow, I would really appreciate it.
Hahaha wtf
I'm contemplating changing my last name to my middle name and just throwing out the family name. Is that a dick move? If so should I wait til my parents croak then?
Most job applications have a space to put in information on prior names that you've used... if not, maybe you can just write that in somewhere on the page? Or type up a letter explaining the situation/change and attach it?
Did you get a Native American name like "Mountain Bear"?
No , Mr Bin Laden , it won't.
is this for real?
As long as you change your last name to "thegoldmansachs" you will be fine, otherwise, automatic ding
