Will they rescind my IB offer over my grades?
Hey guys, So I applied to a BB and I got a verbal offer. However I got the role through networking and not through the traditional recruiting process.
I have a lot of internship/job experience through college (10/11 internships/jobs throughout school) and a lot of which is relevant. No ones asked me for my GPA because my experience has been the focus on the conversations. There’s no GPA cutoff listed on the descriptions and when recruiting made the verbal offer they never asked.
Once they get my transcripts, will they rescind my offer after seeing my GPA? (Below 3.0)

Idk about other firms but my firm didn’t ask for my transcript during the application or background check (bc) process and (after going through the bc report) didn’t check for it either. I was so surprised how half assed these background checks are. You should be fine.

My firm asked for my transcript in order to verify I graduated. Never asked for my GPA during interviews or anytime during the process. Remember being scared once I sent the transcript but at that point they dont care. Just want to see you graduated, already hired you. So no, dont worry. You’ll be fine. I also had below 3.0 GPA.
