Worth it for me to get a mentor for the recruiting process?

Am a current Sophomore that goes to a semi-target (send around 60 to IB every year, this number  is including all level of banks), I have been set on IB since my senior year of highschool and came to this school for their prestigious IB club. You have three chances to apply to his club and I did not get in 2/3 so far I think mainly because I didn't have the best first phone calls when I reached out to some members on the exec. board when I was still in highschool and did not make the best first impression of me so they kinda made their minds up about me; maybe it'll be different with a different exec. board next time I apply. A little more about me, I come from a wealthy town near NYC so have a lot of family and family friends in IB, I have been networking for over a year and have built a solid network at some banks, high GPA, I did a finance internship last summer and have done multiple IB programs(Gugg. IB Freshman Program, GS Insight series), and I also qualify for diversity. Was looking online at that program Wall Street Mastermind; would it be worth it to higher this guy or someone other consultant to guide me through this process or should I do it on my own?

Do it on your own. There’s a lot of threads about Wall Street mastermind talking about how the guys a shmuck.

I would say reach out to others who have been successful at recruiting and ask for their guidance instead of hiring anyone. I feel like your alumni or alumni should be receptive to help out someone in their school
