your favorite job board?
Since I already graduated, no more OCR. My shit school didn't have any good stuff anyways. LinkedIn seems to be the best so far, decent jobs, decent search features. What other good ones are out there?

Career Resources
Doostang eFinancialCareers Indeed (targeted searches) OneWire
Doostang seems decent, don't know anyone who's had any success with it though
Don't pay for Doostang.
I recommend Indeed and eFC, although I personally haven't had success from either. I've gotten the most interviews off "targeted" job boards like the local young professionals boards.
I just use Indeed and eFC. I like Indeed because it aggregates most of the other job boards that I know of and makes it sort of a one-stop-shop. Typically I use certain specific search terms ("investment bank" analyst) tied to most of the major cities like NYC and less specific terms ("investment bank") for smaller cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, etc.). One the things I like about Indeed is that it stores a ton of your most recent searches so you can just log in and click on the things you want to view, so you can check the same dozen markets for the same handful of jobs/job titles and not really have to type anything in...which just makes the process a little faster.
Regards
what are "targeted" searches?
do people still use monster.com?
As you said LinkedIn is good. Try Indeed
linkedin is good? i haven't had any luck. what do you search for?
I usually clear all search criteria except for a check on "Entry Level" and start from there
Surprisingly, I landed multiple interviews through Doostang when i was searching for a job, even an off-cycle BB IB interview.
Out of curiousity, has anyone ever landed anything from Onewire or efinancialcareers; I remember applying to a ton of stuff just to see if I would hear back and never did.
Just wondering, did you use the paid version of Doostang? It seems that the free version is basically useless but I don't want to pony up for a membership unless it is actually worth it.
I haven't had any success with OneWire and I see most of those positions posted elsewhere. I have been contacted by several recruiters from eFinancialCareers but they all want me to take positions I am not interested (I would apply for IB and they would send an email- "hey, I think you would be great as an accountant/operations/fp&a analyst").
The most success I've had so far has been through local CFA Society websites. Haven't gotten much traction at all from big boards like eFinancialCareers, SimplyHired, ect...maybe just bad luck on my part, but yeah
