0 - Eight Figures in 10 Years?

Repost of another discussion with corrections***

Just a fun discussion topic sort of inspired by all the anti-banking/PE soul searching going on on this forum recently lol.

If you could start now, and wanted to go from $0 to $10M plus net worth in, let's say, 5-10 years, how would you try and do it?

Bonus points if you aim higher than 10 million (just prepare for the roasting in your replies).

Pretty much no salaried job will give you this no matter where you go (ie. PE, HF whatever). Only way this could happen is a successful entrepreneurial situation or a successful exit from such. At least in the timeframe you described. There absolutely may be anomalies but those are very, very far and few between.
