I was hit with the worst sucker punch I have ever had in my entire life. ABC Construction poached my workers and how much better it would look on the resume, besides benefits. It was the greatest lesson in business I ever learned: business is not as clean and simple as you see on TV shows or even what I assume as basic business jobs. Business is messy and ugly, and will bite your head off it you do not protect your neck.

Know your story and craft it in a way that paints a vivid image for your interviewer as to who you are, why are you interested in a Consulting role at their firm, and why should they give you a shot. Additionally, keep five to ten rich stories in mind that you can use to answer any fit question.

I am a trader on the FX desk at a BB in London. Over the past three years, I have worked in the same division and climbed through the ranks. My day starts at 4am when I wake up, realize that I have not died in my sleep, get dressed and consume a liquid breakfast. By the time I drive to the office and get to my desk, it is 5am.
