I know that this topic has been posted on before; but, due to things constantly changing, I figured it would be good to ask again. With the semester about to end, I'm going to have some free time to watch some more shows and wanted to see what shows bankers watch. I already watch Suits, but I'm open to all recommendations.

Not a banker and the show I watch isn't in any way related to banking, but Westworld is an excellent show.
Arrival is a movie I just saw in theaters. That's the first time I've been to the theaters in a couple of years, but I would 10/10 do it again. Incredible movie in my opinion, fans of Interstellar will love it as they're in a similar vein.
Dude really confused as to why people enjoyed Arrival so much. Was a huge letdown imo, and I loved Interstellar and generally enjoy scifi as a whole
Damn, I guess to each his own. After I watched Arrival, I had this warm fuzzy feeling inside me when my mind has been blown. It was the same experience as Interstellar for me.
I climaxed at the climax (not actually, but you get the point), that's how good I thought it was. The ending was beautifully done in my opinion, and the constant questioning of everything going on had me absolutely hooked. On another note, the technical aspect was actually pretty darn cool in my opinion.
Again, to each his own.
Edit: admittedly, I had no clue what was going on in terms of predicting the plot. If you saw it coming, I can see how it would've made it less enjoyable. Even then, it was such an incredible movie in my opinion.

Great Show. There are six seasons slated where each season covers a decade in Queen Elizabeth's reign(I believe).
I just finished the first season, It starts with the reign of King George VI after the abdication of Edward VIII. VERY good acting, it follows the lives of the royal family Elizabeth, Phillip, Margaret, Both Queen Mothers. It intertwines history with the royal family drama. John Lithgow is surprisingly good as Churchill.
Westworld. Game of thrones. I also like brain dead shit like goldrush (I work in the minin industry currently).
How is Westworld? I've been meaning to check it out.
It's great. It's not a show that you casually watch though. There are a lot of moving parts and you really have to pay attention to understand what is going on. Similar to GoT/Lost, it generates a ton of fan theories as there are tons of clues relating to where the plot is going.

Archer - yes! Hilarious show and has some interesting and obscure references embedded in the dialogue.
Bob's Burgers - I couldn't get into the drawing style at first (in season 1), but that show has really grown on me. Feels a bit like what Simpsons was in its earlier years when the plots were more character centric and focused.
Sunny's good too. Good for having something in the background or easy to watch

Black Mirror Westworld 3% (new Brazilian tv series on Netflix - similar to Hunger Games with Black Mirror tone) I'd suggest watching with native Portuguese/English subtitles as the English dubbing sounds a lil off.

I loved The Wire season 1, but didn't even finish season 2.
I was looking for something over the holiday weekend and started season 3, I'm a few episodes in and its just ok. Does it get better? I'm debating whether or not I spend more time on it.
You didn't list House of Cards.....that should be towards the top of everyone's list.
It does get progressively better. Season 4 is my favorite
I think it gets better, but it's also important to understand that part of the reason why The Wire is so highly regarded is because of how incredibly realistic it is and how perfect the acting is. The Wire is never going to get as interesting as The Sopranos or a similar show got if that's what you're asking.

How do you manage your time? it looks sick. To watch only 1 show, almost getting defenestrated by my wife. It's total 5 season x 10 episodes x 1hr x 30 shows = 1500 hours.

I probably only watch 30 minutes of TV a day during the week and maybe two or three hours a day on the week. I will watch news shows as they air, but everything else gets watched later.

It truly is an underrated TV show. I don't think it's in the same league as The Wire or The Sopranos, but I cannot believe that Oz doesn't get mentioned more.
Recently checked out Black Mirror. A rather interesting and somewhat odd show.

Rick and Morty South Park Arrested Development
All three are great. Rick and Morty is incredible and is actually a shockingly deep show. I've binged watched it multiple times, highly recommend. South Park obviously speaks for itself. Their coverage of the election this season was on a whole new level.
On point. I'm craving a new season of Rick & Morty. I have been watching the show too much lately. Good to hear I am not the only one.

Westworld is absolutely incredible and I recommend everyone watch it.
House of Cards new season is coming out in a couple of months so if you've never started that, now would be a good time. I believe there's 4 season available on Netflix.

Bates Motel: Originally on AMC, but is now on netflix. It gets pretty fucked up and there's a lot of murder, and thats really what I look for in a show.
Mr. Robot: On USA and is amazing/ really weird.
Stranger Things: 10/10 binge watchability.
Narcos, TURN: Washington's spies (I'm really into American history), House of Cards, The Wire, Life (cancelled NBC show, only ran two seasons, Entourgae, The Newsroom, Burn Notice
Yeah I understand it's not real history, but I like the historical time period, plus the incorporation of real events
Billions, Game of Thrones, and Westworld are, to put it in Shakespearean terms, dope.
Warning: Billions can get heavy at times, particularly so because it's surprisingly accurate in depicting some parts of the HF industry.
If you want to unload your brain after an 18-hr work day, I suggest you check out Lucifer.
I'd highly recommend The Americans, it's on Amazon Video. It's about KGB spies with a family and their kids don't know and how they play cat and mouse with the FBI during the 1980's in DC. It's fucking awesome and supposed to be pretty historically accurate in terms of how they operated.
