Well she has one. She is a VP of operations at a BB (GS, JPM, UBS) my dad (a non target) retired early because of it. Everyone in school is a fan of my mom, and they always tell me how much fun they have watching her, so that makes me happy. Knowing your parent brings happiness to the world and adds value is amazing, really pushes me to do better. My family and I are trying to get my sister to get on it too. Pm me if you want the details.

rental property (professionally managed preferably and definitely at scale) is most W-2 people's answer to that

Many of us are actually prohibited from any of that.  I had a hell of a time dealing with the work paperwork for an old apartment that I sublet.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

If you are talking about “income”, then mostly rental properties with positive cash flow.

Real estate is a long game, but if you do things methodically, you could easily get $100k plus side income over a couple of years, and growing.

A question for y’all - how many of you actually use things like SeedInvest, NetCapital etc.

Seems like an interesting concept but curious if y’all actually use them...

Any others worthwhile in the alternative space (Vinovest, MyRacehorse, etc...) ???
