Alantra Case Study / Model Exam

Has anyone taken the Alantra Model exam? I was just told I moved to the stage as an analyst, so I am trying to prepare as best as possible. It's supposed to be a 2-3 hour test on financial modeling, M&A process knowledge, and writing and analytical skills. I assume I will need to build the IS, BS, and CFS, but unsure what else to expect for the modeling portion given the limited time. Also, the M&A part, is that supposed to be an Merger Model or something?

The confusing thing for me is that what writing and analytical skills would you do in excel? I understand if the case study was like a 4 hour or longer that required PPT to present what's in excel, but what would this portion be in excel?
