Read here about Amazons new plan and strategy to becoming a ticket vendor. Amazon is planning to partner up with US venue owners to begin selling sporting event and concert tickets. This will hopefully play to end Ticketmaster's monopoly over the indsutry. We all hate the ticketmaster fees, so personally I think this would benefit the general public greatly. Amazon hopes that selling sport tickets will boost sales for sports merchandise.
Will Amazon be able to break the strong relationship between Ticketmaster and sporting teams/stadiums
If Amazon does act on this, will Ticketmaster will be forced to remove their fees? Seems like a win-win for sports fans
It's ridiculous Ticketmaster was controlling the ticket buying market so hard. Thank God Amazon is stepping into the ring to knockout Ticketmaster and their fees
