Anyone else afraid of settling down/committing to a location?

Anyone else afraid of the idea of settling down/establishing a permanent presence in a location/region? I moved to the US at a young age and knew deep down that I wanted to move back to Southeast Asia to establish my permanent career. As such, I have been very wary about my living/relationship situation to the point where I don't even want to buy expensive furniture(easily affordable) or long-term relationship because I know I will leave the U.S for good after getting my MBA(within the next 4 years.)
