Anyone else getting sick of the more "intensive" political discourse on here?

Feels like every trending topic that ends up on here the last 6 months is focused only focused on political arguments. While there are some exceptions, like talking about how markets are affected by X decision or Y tariff, etc. It feels like 80% of the posts coming in are about DEI or how "stupid" the other side is. Of these posts, they're almost always inflammatory and generally rude. It is clearly baiting people to stoop to their level and be equally as argumentative and shallow.

In addition, most of these shitposts are coming from new burner accounts, or accounts that are set up for the sole purpose of creating political discourse. The quality of discussion taking place in these threads is comparable to an Instagram reels or Twitter comment section.

Just seems tiresome. I do like the nature of WSO being a place for open discussion for professionals, but the nonstop trolling and low quality of posts contained in political threads is making this site a run of the mill shitpost forum.
