Just curious if anyone here has tried matchmaking services or know of someone who has and has actually had success with them.
I'm considering a few here in LA but they're really expensive and I don't really know how legit they are, even though they claim an 80%+ "success rate"

Fair enough man, I agree that it shouldn't be this hard and I'll accept responsibility, but I'm definitely struggling. I get lots of matches on dating apps but after 2-3 messages, it's about a 99%+ ghost rate.
I have lots of hobbies and every woman I like is already taken and on top of that I run into many die-hard feminists who don't want anything to do with men.
I guess I just should keep at it but compared to my 20s, it was way easier finding a girlfriend back then than it is now.

I agree but it isn't an exaggeration, I've lost track of how many women I've run into who don't hesitate to tell me they don't need men, are happy being single, etc.
Bro no offense, but they may not really believe that and it may just be their attempt to signal they're not attracted to you.
Even the most aggressive "feminists" drop the act when they realize they're attracted to a guy. It's happened to me and my friends quite a bit.
Start going to church, yoga class, the beach, etc. 90% of guys here don't know how to talk to women it is kind of unbelievable.
I go out of my way to talk to many people over the course of the day, men and women. I ride horses competitively and talk to women at the barn, I do live improv, take cooking classes, etc.
