Applying For Internships? Current Analyst + Hate Your Seniors?? Top MS Associate Here to Help

The last time I was on WSO was many years back when I was in your shoes, hustling and looking to secure a job. Today, I am happy to return as someone who has spent their entire career to date with Morgan Stanley IBD, and looking to share any helpful perspectives.

A bit about me - I started as a Summer Analyst and currently leaving as a Senior Associate. I've worked in NY and APAC, and rotated across several groups (MediaComms, Industrials, M&A). I have executed $40Bn in completed transactions, and was lucky enough to get to work directly under our Global Head of IBD (Eli Gross). My time in IB was not easy, and I definitely had to put up with my fair share of toxic personalities, but equally have been blessed with amazing experiences from genuinely supportive seniors.

Today, I recently left IBD for a completely different career, and on the side have started a YT channel ("@WallStreetExposed123") to offload the years of experience and internal insights I have gathered along the way. Hopefully this will be a helpful resource which lasts you all for years to come. I plan on sharing insights on how to do well on the job (beyond just the usual modeling / technical stuff, internal insights on bank function and processes, strategies to getting ranked in the top band for performance reviews... and max out your $$$ bonus, how to deal with toxic behaviour, fun stories both in and out of the office).

Check it out and let me know what would be helpful for you all! Hoping I can act as a virtual and helpful Associate of sorts to guide you all through your careers.
