AT&Ts Purchase of Time Warner is Legal. Thoughts?

Today a federal judge ruled that AT&T can proceed with its planned acquisition of Time Warner.

This win in one of the biggest antitrust cases in recent decades is big for AT&T. It is possible that this acquisition will trigger more media mergers. Other companies like Comcast, who is planning to buy many of 21 Century Fox's assets, have been waiting on the outcome of this ruling before proceeding.

Are you surprised by the ruling? And has the media become too consolidated?

Personally, I think that this just shows how the rich are getting richer at the expense of the common man!
