What are the best places for a cup of take-out Joe that you've found in NYC?

Knowing where a nearby Starbucks might be is useful knowledge if you really have to pee as NYC has very limited places to pee.
I listened to the Acquired podcast episode with Howard Schultz and I now respect Starbucks a lot more. Used to irrationally dislike it, now I would happily get a cup of coffee there if need be

Blue Bottle. 53rd Street location has a nice seating area.
Matto espresso isn't anything special but it's so cheap. Black Fox Coffee is pretty good. I like Bluestone Lane too but it's expensive
Most redeeming thing about Matto is the $3 deal - literally inflation protection. That being said the espresso machine at work kicks its ass every time.

Pret, because it's $40 for a monthly subscription and I can get up to five free drinks a day. All I drink is cold brew, so best value for me.
