Big Yikes - 10 Year Old Child Denied Abortion In Ohio

Gotta be a real fucking weirdo/incel/loser to deny a 10 year old child the right to an abortion.. especially considering the circumstances. Yikes.

A 10-year-old girl was denied an abortion in Ohio after the Supreme Court ruled last week that it was overturning Roe v. Wade, demonstrating the tangible impacts that the high court's decision is having on patients seeking access to the medical procedure.

A child abuse doctor in Ohio contacted Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an obstetrician-gynecologist in Indiana, after receiving a 10-year-old patient who was six weeks and three days pregnant, the Indianapolis Star reported

That patient is now heading west to Indiana given that an abortion ban in Ohio, which prohibits the medical procedure when fetal cardiac activity begins, around six weeks, had become effective quickly after the high court issued its decision.

Blame democrats. pelosi and schumer will not put forward a bill the codifies exemptions, protects abortions in the first trimester, or protects the right to travel to a different state. They have the 60 votes for this but it doesn't satisfy the far left.

A ten year old rape victim waited six weeks to get an abortion?

Oh my.  You don't get an alert on your phone saying you are pregnant.

Unprotected sex (barring infertility issues) is very likely to lead to a pregnancy. You don't need an alert to tell you that.

Biology lesson for you-  the very earliest you can even test for pregnancy is week 5- the weeks are calculated by the  first day of your last period- most period cycles are 4-5 weeks.. The more you know..

My man,

You do realize most girls don't realize they're pregnant until 4-5 weeks if they're quick? 6 weeks is nothing, your body doesn't show any changes then.

You only start to think when a girl misses her cycle but those even vary sometimes. So not knowing at 4-5 weeks is completely normal, especially for a TEN YEAR OLD

I blame the conservative scum bags on the Supreme Court.  Kavanaugh, Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Barrett are responsible for decisions like this one.  The party of small government wants courts and legislators to be intimately involved with family decisions. Fuck them all.

Standard strategy of the pro-abortion crowd. Use 0.1% of abortion cases to justify the abortion of human fetuses (with heartbeats at 6 weeks and pain response at 12 weeks) in the other 99.9% of cases.

If the Left would like to argue that abortion should be legal in 0.1% cases like this, I think most Americans would be onboard. To be clear, that is NOT what the Left is arguing.

Any sane person agrees. Democrats arent sane and want to say this is the norm. It's not, and Republicans cannot let them psy op this. This is the 0.001% edge case if there ever was one, but most of America is too stupid to realize it. Fuck the left though and fuck this rapist

I haven't read every comment because as a woman I can only take small doses as I'm coming to grip with my absolute basic human rights being stripped from me. But thanks for posting this to those who see the audacity of what the reality of the Rowe v wade overturning is becoming. Woman will die. Children will suffer poverty and abuse.

Edit: I've read them. Some of you all need lessons in biology and understanding the human condition. Others understand logic and can think beyond themselves..

Woman will die. Children will suffer poverty and abuse.

I agree with every pro-choice argument until I remember that a human fetus with a heartbeat that experiences pain is involved and will die as a result of the abortion.

To say that "women will die" due to less abortion rights is to ignore that a woman dies 50% of the time whenever an "abortion right" is exercised.

you're forgetting things such as ectopic pregnancy- which are always non-viable and will also result in the death of woman. As well as instances when maternal health is involved as well as unviable pregnancies that are being forced to carry and result in dead tissue inside woman who can also die from this. What you are saying misses so many other real reasons for abortion. And the only reason for an abortion should be that a woman decides what happens to her body. You don't like it- then don't have sex. You don't have to chose abortion but others can make their own choice.

It's a basic human right of mine to seek healthcare to prevent my own death. I know- all too well- my own life has been in risk giving birth. Under the new laws I would not have been able to obtain the healthcare that I needed to save my own life and instead would have been forced to carry a non-viable fetus. How is this not a violation of my basic human rights?

The optics here are horrible. Using a ten year old as a poster child for abortion looks really sick. The Hill acts as though ten year old's get pregnant all the time and it's perfectly normal. Not a single word about the fact that a ten year old getting pregnant is obviously an act of rape/incest. Not a mention of the man who did this to this child. Of course they won't mention the man here because pedophilia is the next big perversion the Leftist Freaks seek to normalize so they can't even condemn this situation. Bottom line is this. a ten year old is pregnant because one of the perverts under the LGBTQ+ umbrella broke the law and raped a child. When the Left says all the children belong to the community, and it takes a village to raise a child, THIS is what the left seeks to normalize for the children in their "village".

Doesn't the fact that pregnant 10 year olds even occur mean we need abortion access? It's so dumb to suggest that because we don't report every single pregnant 10 year old, which MAY have more to do with privacy concerns than a desire to report, we shouldn't have access, might be the dumbest thing I've read all day. And I just scrolled Tik Tok…

Bro, if you're against abortion fine. But just know you are on the side of making children give birth to children. Repulsive.

Dude, it is not going to be an isolated incident.  Overturning Rowe V Wade will lead more of these horrendous outcomes.

She was taken to Indiana because her Ohio doctor made a call. With Ohios new abortion ban soon coming into place, that call wouldn't be able to occur. Now we have a child that literally must make that call for herself and somehow organize a ride to Illinois, at 10 years old.

This is utterly repulsive.

Sorry in advance if I'm overlooking something, but why can't the child be transported to Illinois or some other nearby state where abortion is still legal?

This child was transported- but this is just one example of a whole lot of what is going on. The bigger issue is that poor people or women who are in abusive relationships don't have the option to travel. Which is why abortion access is needed for all.

Sensationalist headline that becomes irrelevant as she is going to a state where she can get an abortion anyways…

This is only the first incident.  There are likely going to be many more of them. Some people may not be able to go to another state.

Why would someone not be able to go to another state?

I am pro choice myself, but I am LESS able to understand pro-lifers who DO support rape or incest exceptions, than I am able to understand the pro-lifers who want to ban all abortions minus those for life threatening pregnancies.

As far as I can tell, the only reason to be pro life is having a genuine belief that a fetus is literally a human baby. And if that is the case, how would you reconcile that view with rape/incest justifying literal baby murder?

Jul 4, 2022 - 10:49am
IncomingIBDreject, what's your opinion? Comment below:

The way I see it it's still murder after the heartbeat is detected but the guilt rests solely on the rapist. Existing abortion laws charge the mother with murder, whereas exceptions for rape and incest should charge the rapist with murder. Unfortunately if you study how rich white men get let off the hook for sexual scandals time and time again, and study many of the accusations going against these politicians you'd understand why they aren't doing this or acknowledging how horrible rape/incest is and letting the girl be innocent.
