The shit she says isn't even intelligent. I mean to the average audience it does sound smart, but for someone like myself who follows finance closely, and someone for you who has a role in FO finance, its pretty basic. The SJW side gives me the shits because I doubt there are many delusional people who don't know what gender they are making big calls in Hedge Funds. I hope she doesn't take a larger role than Axe

to be honest, was a bit disappointed with the first episode of season 3 mainly due to the huge hype it had. we needed more axlerod action but that was clearly replaced by taylor. -_-
Agreed. I'm curious where it's headed. If Axelrod gets off and the investigation ends, what happens? We go back to essentially what was happening in Season 1 before the investigation started? Or maybe it'll be like Suits and we follow Axelrod around in prison for a little. They both seem unlikely.
Totally agree. I feel like they're changing the show to be more predictable and universally marketed. The show did so well initially because it was a serious show that had a strong financial "cool factor" but I can see it changing
Anyone else find the scenes with Paul Giamatti and Maggie Siff EXTREMELY off putting. You know what scenes I'm talking about.
To go further, does anyone understand how that dynamic works, specifically on the show or in general. I don't want to judge, but it just isn't my cup-o-tea, so I can't fathom.

As far as why, I remember Wendy mentioning something the first season along the lines of "...this helps keep you in the present." There was a study done talking about how BDSM can help reduce stress/anxiety as well.
Definitely not my thing either though.

Also whenever Charles or Jack are on, they’re always in various rooms of the Yale Club. So unbelievably pretentious, very effective in highlighting their characters
Wendy and Bryan remain my favorite characters, though Dake is starting to get interesting with the moral dilemmas he’s grappling with
I definitely agree with some of the comments of wanting to see more of Axelrod instead of Taylor. Lara is indeed a bitch. Wendy is whatever, curious to see how Chuck handle his marriage knowing that she slept with another guy in season 2 during their separation. Finally, my boy Wags is still funny as fuck.
the yenta's Psychology Today know-it-all huckster schtick is so fucking tiresome and boring. and while she's not a dime, it's so ridiculously unrealistic she'd ever touch that slob husband to the point it's just painful to watch. I'll keep watching hoping Chuck eventually has his Rod Blagojevich moment

Wendy's shift in position in ep 2 was very interesting though. In previous seasons she was hesitant to help Chuck or even discuss his work, but she was helping Chuck to confront Judge Fund. Pretty interesting transitioning. While like many I thought Ep 1 was pretty underwhelming, Ep2 was surely more exciting.
Svengali yenta psychologist ruling over every main and under-plot is the most annoying part of the show, by far. It's like if the therapist Tony saw in the Soprano's became the star of the series. Enough already.
