Breaking Bad finale

I never wish away my weekends, but I can't wait for the finale of Breaking Bad on Sunday. I got into this show in Season 3 and, thanks to Netflix, I've filled in the blanks.

How does everyone expect it to end? We know Walt's days (minutes) are numbered, and he's got a large gun in his trunk, so it's business time. Personally, I hope his demise is at Jessie's hands, with one last "Bitch!" and then fade to credits.

Other thoughts:

- Lydia and Todd really need to die. Spectacularly.

- I really miss Gustavo Fring, heckuva businessman, that guy.

Walt Kills Jack's men, lets Jesse escape, Jesse leaves the country to raise Brock,Walt gets closure with his family, they take the money and run, Walt dies of cancer, the end.

dude you basicaly got it right (besides the cancer part), props :D

I like what BTBanker says, but Walt will not run away with his family; they fucking hate him lol. I bet Walt will either die attempting to save Jesse, (I think it's certain Jesse does not die), or Walt will get taken hostage by Jack's men and replace Jesse as their bitch.

"or Walt will get taken hostage by Jack's men and replace Jesse as their bitch." That'd be some shit right there.

Jesse does seem to have nine lives, even if it's not much of a life right now.

Walt Jr kills everyone, takes over drug trade

We know this won't happen as he'd have no time to eat cereal.

My prediction for the ending:

  • Walt kills Nazis, has a showdown with Jack
  • Todd kills Jack because "I have a lot of respect for you, Mr. White"
  • Jesse and Walt reluctantly team up one final time to wrap up all loose ends by using Todd to schedule a meet with Lydia, then killing her as Todd watches
  • Todd gets killed by either Jesse or Walt
  • Walt dies, tells Skyler the location of the money
  • Shootout with Nazis is shown on TV, people say Walt is crazy, Skyler and co are absolved of criminal guilt
in it 2 win it

Frank Underwood heads out west to take over cooking responsibilities after a failed bid at the vice presidency. Doug Stamper cleans up all loose ends (obviously).

Jax goes nomad. Sets up an arms and drugs meeting amongst members of the IRA, mexican cartels, Lyida, Jack's crew, Walt/Jesse, etc. Laroy comes through with the niners detonating a strategically placed RV during mid-cook killing everyone but Jax, Walt, and Jesse. The 3 are left to fight in a to the death cage match after Wrestle Mania.

I hate when my favorite series come to an end. Does anyone know if they have ever intertwined shows and characters in a way that actually worked?

No idea how BB will end but I'm pumped for Sunday.

I think Walt deliberately left the $10mm in the barrel so the FBI would seize it (he made the call and ensured it was traced). I think his hope is that it will take the heat off his family (per his conversation with Saul, FBI need to poach newsworthy stuff).

If Walt is to be redeemed, he has to take out Jack and Todd. Maybe he will let Jesse go this time. Or maybe Vince Gilligan will deny him that redemption. Either way, I think Walt has come clean with Skyler to the extent possible by taking some heat off and responsibility during the phone call.

Only thing up in the air for me is Jesse's fate.

I'm going to put in a strong guess that Walt will actually survive. I think it's pretty clear that most viewers want that. When in doubt, give people their bread and circuses.

Apparently, he's getting a new role in an upcoming movie portraying another gangster boss

how are you guys doing the breaking bad finale and homeland season premier at the same time? clearly, bb is of higher priority, but it's still a tough situation to be in

Great ending and all but how'd the police fail to realize the foot tracks leading to the car that Walt was in

There are only 2 paths to happiness in life. Stupidity or exceptional wealth.

Great ending and all but how'd the police fail to realize the foot tracks leading to the car that Walt was in

It was a parking lot (lots of traffic) and they never really showed the car and how well hidden or in the open it was. Overall, that wasn't the biggest leap of faith and I was more impressed with Walt's ingenuity (not that I am surprised).

You wouldn't download a car.

Just kidding, I totally would. Never understood that campaign.

@socman Illegal downloads, duh...

I thought it was a good finale overall. It tied off basically all loose ends and ended in a way consistent with Walt's character.

Never watched Breaking Bad before - went on Wikipedia, read the synopsis. Sounds like a great show I'll never watch.

Calm down.
