Brexit and the EU and Global Economy
Hard Brexit is supposedly coming October 31st. Do y’all think Brexit is enough to crash the EU and in turn the global economy? Everyone’s been calling for a recession and the signs have been dialed in we’re pretty much just waiting for a trigger at this point. Could Brexit be the trigger? I remember an economics professor telling me markets crash in the fall looking back to 2001 and 2007. Would the central bankers try and get in front of it and cut rates? Could the EU survive without Great Britain and if so for how long? What happens when the EU does fall? Every European country goes back to their own currency? Does it have to do with Carney’s comments on the USD? Let’s discuss.
