Yes, in order to hold the designation you need a UG degree but you can take the first level of each while you are still in UG.

CAIA L1 is easier...I would have a hard time seeing someone doing the GMAT and Level 1 of the CFA effectively while taking classes full time and working/doing an internship (which I recall you do from a previous thread)

As stated above, it will be spread out. I'm studying for the GMATs right now and will be taking them during spring break and start of the summer session. CFA or CAIA I would want to take them during senior year.

CFA is infinitely more valuable than the CAIA but make sure you can handle the weight of the work you're taking on
