Can I pull out of an assessment centre?
I have just accepted an offer for a SA position but I have an AC coming up for a buy side IR role.
Having made up my mind 90% previously for the SA offer I haven’t prepped much at all and was surprised to get the AC call back, considering the AC isn’t run through a recruiter I’m sure I won’t get through.
I was wondering will there be any long lasting consequences of pulling out of an AC, after confirming a slot. Mainly with other firms, recruiting agencies etc? Thanks
Nope, no issues. Sooner you tell them, the sooner they can offer your spot to someone else.
