Cannot understand my boss at all
I just started my first internship in a BB in an MO role. My boss does not speak an understandable form of English and it is really difficult to understand any of the tasks he gives. If he sends an email, I can understand completely, so he clearly knows English. I always ask and clarify my tasks, but it’s almost like I’m repeating everything i think he says just to make sure I don’t skip a task or misunderstand him. Is there anything you guys recommend to do here?
Unfortunately you're screwed unless you can start to understand him better.
Getting things in writing is the right strategy, but after a while it will piss him off that he has to do extra work for you - which is ultimately your fault in his eyes.
The good news is that it's an internship, so doesn't mean much.
