I have both Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro (my school gives me access to both), and Capital IQ Pro seems so much nicer. However, I see people using Cap IQ original all the time. Is there a reason why? It seems like objectively worse software (slower, weaker UI)

CIQ (normal) has much better deal info/tracking interface
I have access to both but much prefer the original interface
CIQ Pro feels "nicer" on the eyes but it's harder to get what I'm looking for IMO.
How do you find short interest of a public company on cap iq pro? I don’t have access to cap iq anymore. Used to be on cap iq but can’t find it on cap iq pro
People are creatures of habit. They prefer the old one as they know their way around the interface etc. probably lots of excel templates are based on CIQ formulas too (diff from CIQ pro) and people CBA updating them
