Citibank thoughts with new transitions?

CEO Michael Corbat is retiring and Jane Fraser, CEO of consumer banking is now the new CEO. What does this mean and will IB still be strong? What about the full-time return offers for all the interns, does Mike know he messed up?

dude what is wrong with you. How does this have ANYTHING to do with full time offers for interns. Jane Fraser is one of the top  leaders in the industry, has enough experience to lead with grace and this will hopefully result in other top banks/ companies promoting more women to senior positions. I would love to see more female successors to current Wall Street CEOs. There was a cool article on CNBC this morning about Corbat's retirement: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/10/why-michael-corbat-is-leaving-citigroup…

I never said let's make it about identity politics, but it's also important to acknowledge that it took Wall street 200 YEARS to have a female CEO of a major bank even though there have been very capable women in the industry all along. I am hoping there'll be more female CEOs. Got a problem?

Interned at Citi this past summer and from her fireside chat, seems she is more than capable. OP is an idiot. She started her career at GS and made Partner at McK before lateralling over to Citi and heading various groups
