Community College student seeking internship

So here's the deal, I am a rising sophomore attending a community college in the Boston area. I plan on transferring to a strong four-year school that will get some looks from bb banks. With that being said, I would like to land an internship next summer in order to gain some experience and boost my resume. Considering I will not know where I am going to transfer until next spring, I will have to list my CC as the school I am attending when looking for internships now. My understanding is that this may put me at a distinct disadvantage, as I will be competing for a spot with kids already attending 4 yr. schools.

My question is: What are solid finance internships for someone interested in ib to get during their summer before junior yr, and how would one go about networking their way into said internships coming from a community college?

If it is of any relevance I currently have a 4.0 gpa at my cc taking primarily business and accounting courses. Thanks in advance for any insight you may provide.
