Conversation Topics for Long Distance Driving

My boss and I will be visiting a client. We will have to drive 4 hours (one way). I'm a little concerned b/c I don't know what I should or can talk to her about during the long drive. My boss is a female. Any advice please?

lol, oh how i miss the days where basic conversation is awkward and difficult

all i can say is read the paper that morning so you have something to talk about when prompted, don't talk too much, be friendly, and hope there's some music/radio to listen to. Or better yet, bring something to read / study and politely ask if she minds if you work on that during the ride (she won't)

What is the answer to 99 out of 100 questions?

Let your boss lead the conversation, listen as much as possible, and ask follow up questions. Sprinkle a few anecdotes to appear interested in the topic. Smile when talking if you're seeking a laugh. Finally, be comfortable with silence; it happens, it's okay.

...by the way, seriously guys? you don't know how to fucking talk during a car ride? it's not rocket science, GET TO KNOW THEM. or if she's asleep, don't talk!

dear God, I'm worried about the future of America.

How attractive is she? If she is attractive enough you should make that 4 hour trip into a 4 hour and 2 minute trip if you know what I am saying.

How did you make it through the interview? Were there zero behavioral questions?

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
