She said I harassed her by calling "10 times per day for 2 weeks." Records show I called her 0 times over this period. She called 911 one night for domicile harassment and I went to jail for this. I had to show up for court 1/mo for 6mo because the prosecutor wouldn't drop the charges when the phone records prove her story was bogus. When the charges were dropped (NYC), I tried to press charges for perjury and the prosecutor didn't want to pursue.

Wtf .. I think I remember another comment on here from a while ago about something like this, don’t remember who it was from - was this your roommate from your east village place? What happened after all this?

Yeah East Village. What happened is I never stuck my dick in crazy again. All charges were dropped once they saw my phone records of me calling her 0 times.

How could they put you in jail based on a phone call unless you did something that violated the law?  That is bizarre.  I would have filed a civil suit against the police department

We were roommates at the time. Unwanted harassment is breaking the law. NYC law says if a domestic issue is filed from a female against a male, the male is automatically arrested and processed. It was a domestic harassment charge. But, phone records showed I called her zero times and only texted her back when she texted me.

Not sure how you would file a civil suit against the police department if they were just following the law. She is the one who committed perjury and should face the consequences.
