So there's this bartender chick that I have an in with, long story short it's overtly indicative she want's String's D (actually verified, because we hooked up the first evening we hung out without hardly any badgering from me, which is what I normally have to do for one night stands); and possibly seeks access to my low 6 figure salary (I'd be OK with that, somewhat).
So bottom line, who here - NOT in college (although if you are, please feel free to share any exciting hook-up stories w/ slut bag bartenders, although I'm going to guess right off the bat you're lying, but that's OK long as it's entertaining) - works on avg. >70 hrs a week and has dated a bartender, casually to somewhat seriously for >45 days.
Simply, if you dated a bartender chick, did it blow, no more draining than a normal chick or decently awesome while lasted? And, would you recommend for or against, and few reasons why based on experience.

I manage a bar part time and there are definitely all types. Some girls just want to party, others really are wife material. You have to get to know her dude, women are far less defined by their jobs than men.

The biggest problem I've had with bartender chicks is that they are constantly complaining about every little detail in life. I'm talking everything -- it is like high school all over again. Complaints about co-workers, patrons, money, family, friends, friends' kids, you name it. On top of this, every current/past co-worker of hers will be constantly sending her dirty texts and trying to hook up with her. This can get incredibly annoying if you're just trying to relax after working long hours.
On top of this, her hours are going to conflict with yours. Depending on the bar she works at, she'll be working the night shift 5+ days a week. She'll usually get Sundays or Mondays off, which really doesn't do you much good if you are looking to go out on the town together. Unless you feel like visiting her and sitting by yourself at the bar while she works, you won't get much time together. That or she'll be asking you to go out with her and her co-workers when they get off work at 12am to 2am on a Tuesday night -- which is hardly sustainable if you're in an office job. If you're looking to have an actual relationship with this girl rather than a late night hook-up thing, this will make life more challenging.
I go to a school with something around 25-40% Jewish students. One of my roommates was hooking up with a bartender for a bit, he'd wind up waiting around at the bar till close to take her home. So during the Jewish holiday Sukkot, so since it was late and empty they hooked up in one of the Sukkahs (huts put up for the holiday) and he wound up getting a bj in it.

From my experience, not a safe bet. If it's a non-committed non-exclusive relationship (for lack of better term) you're after, then why not. Otherwise, you have to realize, as much as any non-ugly chick gets constantly macked on at a bar or club, a waitress/bartender/bottle girl gets hit on at least 100x more. It shouldn't matter in the short run since am sure confidence isn't a problem with a person in banking who can get manage to casually date a barmaid, however, there will always be someone marginally more confident/better looking/richer or whatever which managed to woo her for those few minutes of introduction, and, because she may or may not be tipsy, she'll just say fuck it and go for it.
She sounds like a cool chick. Not sure how old she is but people change and grow. Maybe you'll somewhat inspire her (career wise) and you two might even grow together. Go for it. Maybe a month from now she'll be that kind of chick you see yourself going forward with on the long run. My best relationship involved being inspired and challenged by the man and growing together in a way that we both changed for the better ( or at least I'd love to think so.)
