Dating a Hedge Fund Manager
I have been "seriously" dating a HF manager (in his early 40's, never married, withdrawn). Think Christian Bale's character in the Big Short. I know these guys work insane hours and look for specific qualities in a woman. I am in my late 20's and with limited dating experience I have to say it's not easy. Wonder if anyone can share some "rules" or advice. Thanks monkeys! :)

They get turned on by double entendre Wall Street vernacular..work some into casual banter like, "sustained growth rate," "straddle option" and "short naked put"
Just don't get into arguments about alpha and beta, he will reveal his true colors (no alpha).
Ask if he likes a bottom-up approach.
Seriously? You have limited dating experience? HF managers date 9s and 10s, they have dating experience.
You're probably very attractive and he likes you partially, or mostly because you're very attractive. So my advice would be to keep being very attractive and put effort into looking good for him. I would also not expect him to want kids or to ever get married, considering he's probably been inundated with opportunities to have a partner his entire life and he has nothing to show for his intention to change that.
Don't believe him when he tells you you're different, if you have respect for yourself.

I am under the impression that he wants to settle down. Not all HF managers are players, agree? :(

A close friend of his told me that he's been searching a wife for a while, but the process has been painfully awkward for him. He apparently doesn't know how to date women.
So what kind of companion guys like that need, besides a beautiful face, a hot body and knowing when to keep her mouth shut?
The stereotypical things are: nymphomania, a good cook, you at least feign interest in their work. Those are a few good things.
