Decreasing tax withholdings as an AN1

I just started in July this summer. I got a signing bonus $10K + annual salary of $110K. But because of the middle year start my total gross income will be about $58K with no other income this year.

Would I be right to submit a new W-4 to my bank and withhold less on my taxes so that I can get more take home pay now? Is there anything I need to be aware of? Of course I know I’d need to change the withholding back in January but just wanted to sanity check if I am missing anything important here.
